“I LOVED your Show! ‘A Woodland Cinderella’ is one of the finest I have seen in a long time. It was expertly acted, beautifully presented and very very funny. I plan on booking this for my children’s next birthday.”
Martin P. Robinson, performer of Snuffleupagus and Telly on Sesame Street
"This show was described as “delice” and a total delight. The puppet booth was a tree and the solo puppeteer masterful in her performance. The story was delightful and original. The word charming was used by all reviewers. There was an extremely effective use of scenery and space. She kept her audience thoroughly engrossed with her storytelling abilities."

The Twig Family in the Oak Tree
“The Twig Family in the Oak Tree”
-a story sculpture
“The Twig Family in the Oak Tree” is a happy gentle story about a family of imaginary “twig” people who live in harmony with nature. They are Leaf, Fern and their daughter Mossy. The Oak Tree provides them with everything they need to live and be happy. It is their home, they grind the acorns into dough for bread, they collect rainwater to drink and the leaves give them oxygen for fresh air. AND it’s a fun place to live!
What a surprise when they receive a visit from a very nervous “cousin Lawn” who is determined that they should leave their home!
The stage is constructed entirely of papier mache. The Twig Family people are free-standing “puppets” that are moved around the different places in the tree just as a child plays and creates stories. The “Tree Stage” is approximately 7 feet tall.
The show runs about 45 minutes.
This show is appropriate for only very small groups! (40max)
If there is a platform or stage, more people may be accommodated.

"The Twig Family in the Oak Tree is a must for all children to see. It fit in perfectly with our unit on trees. The children are still talking about it. Thanks for making the Twig family, robin, squirrel and Hyla the tree frog come to life." -Martha O'Connor, Naquag Elementary School, Rutland. MA.
The Three Pigs and Other Tales*
Debbie with a scene from the Three Pigs
“The Three Pigs and Other Tale" is a program designed especially for children ages 3-6. The stories are somewhat gentler versions of the originals with emphasis on trying to do the right thing.
The stage is a small whimsical structure with the shadows of small silhouette characters visible through a white screen. Deborah can talk with her young audience from above the screen.
“The Three Billy Goats Gruff”, “The Three Pigs”, “The Shoemaker and the Elves” and “Stone Soup” are the stories in her current “shadows” repertory. The show is designed for small, cozy groups of not more than 60 people!
*Works well for birthday parties!

“We applaud you up one side and down the other!! What you do with the Shadow Stories is so rare, so unique! Your communication with the children is so appropriate that they get the story immediately and are absolutely mesmerized. Your artistry is incredible.” -Martha Elder, North Shore Nursery School, Beverly Farms, MA
"Turtle's Wetland Quest" ~ formerly called "Turtle's New Home"
Blanding the Turtle, Castor and Salamander
A story about a turtle, a beaver, a salamander and their wetland habitat.
“Blanding” the turtle is in search of a new, safe wetland habitat. The pond where she has lived for many years is no longer safe! A road has been built between her pond and the sandy hill where she goes every spring to lay her eggs. Blanding knows what happens when a turtle tries to cross a road! When she meets young Castor the Beaver, who is eager to build a dam and create a new pond, she sees that her problems might be solved! We also meet her friend the Blue Spotted Salamander as well as a little boy named Edward and his nature-loving babysitter Rachel, who teaches him how to look for signs of animals and their activities.
This production is carefully researched to depict a Massachusetts wetland habitat. The plants and animals represented are those that would be found in a New England wetland The puppets clearly tell the story of the habitat needs of the beaver, turtle and salamander. Wetlands are important to us all! A study guide is available with emphasis on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for science in grades K-5.
Recommended maximum of 250.
"This show is REALLY REALLY REALLY good! It was just what we were looking for!"
-Dr. Rudy Moseley, headmaster, Providence Times2 Academy
“This sterling little puppet show is where it all begins. The future of the national environment is in the hands of today’s school children”
-John Hanson Mitchell, Editor, Sanctuary Magazine, Mass Audubon Society
“Turtle’s Wetland Quest" is a good combination of natural history and engaging story, which is difficult to do! If I had known how wonderful it would be I would have asked the rest of my staff to join me”
-Rachel Holbert, Norman Bird Sanctuary and Mass. Environmental Education Society
This morning's performance of "Turtle's Wetland Quest" was EXCELLENT!
One of the best that I can remember!
Maura, second grade teacher, Willet Elementary School, Attleboro MA 11/9/12
