“The Twig Family in the Oak Tree” -story sculpture
This is a happy gentle story about a family of imaginary “twig” people who live in an Oak Tree in harmony with nature. They are Leaf, Fern and their daughter Mossy. The tree provides them with everything they need to live and be happy. It is their home, they grind the acorns into dough for bread, they collect rainwater to drink and the leaves give them oxygen for fresh air. AND it’s a fun place to live!
What a surprise when they receive a visit from “cousin Lawn” who is determined that they should leave their home!
Thank you so much for your delightful performance of
"The Twig Family in the Oak Tree"
Your Oak Tree "theater" was truly original, creative and very impressive--captivating the entire audience. The show, your wonderfully unique puppets, and your charming voices enthralled the children. I whole-heartedly recommend this show for young children for both it's entertainment AND educational value. It was a memorable experience and your talent as an artist and teaching puppeteer was greatly appreciated!

A Woodland Cinderella
*see short video*
In this new version of the classic story, Cinderella is a fairy who lives with her stepmother and stepsister in an enormous old tree in the forest. The King of all woodland fairies wants his son to marry a fairy princess, but none can be found. The Prince is looking for someone who is kind and good. The mean stepsister is sure that having the most “stuff” makes her the best.
So the King hosts a great ball and commands that every single fairy maiden in the land must attend. He is hoping that a fairy princess will come, and he knows the secret to identifying a true fairy princess!
I LOVE this show,!! "Cinderella", was one of the finest puppet shows I have seen in years. It was expertly acted, beautifully presented, and very very funny. I plan on booking this show for my daughter's next birthday.

THE THREE PIGS AND OTHER TALES
“The Three Billy Goats Gruff”,
“The Three Pigs”,
“The Shoemaker and the Elves” and
“Stone Soup”
The stage is a small whimsical structure with the shadows of small silhouette characters visible through a white screen. Deborah can talk with her young audience from above the screen.
“We applaud you up one side and down the other!!
What you do with the Shadow Stories is so rare, so unique! Your communication with the children is so appropriate that they get the story immediately and are absolutely mesmerized. Your artistry is incredible.”
